Kids To Explore Woods, Get Outside During 'Wild Things' Program
The Kane County Forest Preserve District has designed the nature programs for kids entering first through sixth grades.

From Kane Forest: Send kids on a new, naturalist-led adventure each week, during βWild Things Wednesdaysβ nature programs.
Kids will explore the woods, search for wildlife in the prairie, wade in the creek, learn about aquatic life and more during Forest Preserve District of Kane Countyβs βWild Things Wednesdays,β nature programs. These programs are designed for kids entering first through sixth grades. Register your child for one, two, or any combination of these seven programs.
Β· Creek Exploration: Wednesday, June 20; 9 a.m. - noon, at LeRoy Oakes Forest Preserve, 37W700 Dean St., St. Charles.

Β· Woodland Adventure: Wednesday, June 27; 9 a.m. - noon, at Fabyan Forest Preserve, 1925 Batavia Ave., Geneva.
Β· Animal Tracking: Wednesday, July 11; 9 a.m. - noon, at Burnidge Forest Preserve, 38235 Big Timber Rd., Elgin.

Β· Life by the Lake: Wednesday, Aug. 1; 9 a.m. - noon, at Oakhurst Forest Preserve, 1680 Fifth Ave., Aurora.
Β· Rock Hunt: Wednesday, Aug. 8; 9 a.m. - noon, at Camp Tomo Chi-Chi Knolls, 40W095 Freeman Rd., Gilberts.
