Local Mud Run Makes Donation To The Mission Continues

Seventh bi-annual race raises $1,000 for organization

The Battlegrounds, St. Louis’ only permanent mud run obstacle course, recently held its seventh bi-annual race and raised $1,000 for The Mission Continues.

The Mission Continues is a national non-profit organization based in St. Louis that deploys military veterans into community service leadership roles at home. Its fellowship program involves post-911 veterans serving 20 hours a week for six months at a non-profit of their choice while completing a professional development curriculum. Its service platoon program has teams of veterans of all generations working alongside active duty, guard/reservists and non-veterans in communities to find solutions and make an impact on local challenges.

“The Mission Continues is a wonderful non-profit that helps veterans remain active and relevant,” said The Battlegrounds’ owner Carl Bolm. “The Mission Continues is in sync with our mission, and we were proud to work with them in promoting their programs.”
