Parade Entries for Electric Christmas Parade Due Oct. 27

Businesses, non-profits, and organizations in St. Charles are all encouraged to participate in the holiday parade on Nov. 25.

From The City of St. Charles: The deadline for entry in the St. Charles Electric Christmas Parade has been extended through Friday, October 27th. The parade steps off on Main Street at 5:30 pmon Saturday, November 25. Businesses and organizations with interest in being a part of this event should return completed forms to the Downtown St. Charles Partnership office in the St. Charles Municipal Building no later than Friday, October, 27th, 2017.

Businesses, non-profits, and organizations that would like to enter the parade may do so by completing and returning the Parade Entry Form, Safety Guidelines, and a Certificate of Insurance. The application fee is $275 for businesses, $125 for Downtown St. Charles Partnership member businesses, and complimentary to local non-profits. Applications can be downloaded at www.downtownstcharles.org/holidays.

Holiday Homecoming is a two-day event, featuring Lighting of the Lights on November 24. Trolley rides on 1st Street; visits with Santa, a holiday movie, and the Electric Christmas Parade take place on November 25.

  • Live Holiday Window Displays on Main and 1st Street, 1-5 pm
  • Electric Christmas Parade on Main Street, 5:30 pm

Santa’s House will open 1-4pm every Saturday and Sundayafternoon starting, November 25 until December 23, 2017.

All Holiday Homecoming events and activities are free of charge.
