"Sanctity" The True Account of Vietnam Combat Veteran and Missouri State Investigator, Tommy Ray Capps available Amazon.com

"Sanctity" is a story of perseverance of the human spirit. A heinous crime perpetrated upon innocent girls interwoven with memories.

“Sanctity” is a story of growth and perseverance of the human spirit. Written by Teresa Garrison-Capps.

The story revolves around the investigation of Mennonite (Dutchy) girls being sexually assaulted in their homes, in their beds, by an English (anyone not Mennonite) man. He would sneak into their unlocked homes and tell the girls that God had sent him to give them a baby. The perpetrator raped seven little girls until the Mennonites finally contacted the authorities.

Tommy Capps was the Missouri STAT Investigator for this case that came to be known in Morgan County as the Dutch Country Rapes. The book explores Tommy’s vivid memories as a combat infantryman serving in Vietnam in 1966 and growing up in a remote area of the hills of Missouri called Ivy Bend; all while working to bring justice to the most innocent of victims who were perpetrated in the sanctity of their own homes.

Review:

"This captivating, inspiring and motivational story of Tommy Capps, raised on a rocky farm in the Ozarks, a dirt soldier in Vietnam, and motivated law enforcement officer is spellbinding. Carefully, intricately, interestingly and passionately, his wife and author, Teresa Garrison-Capps, weaves together the demons of Tommy." Ray Speckman, award-winning writer and retired historical documentary TV producer.
