Stanisic was previously Assistant General Manager of Ruth’s Chris Steak House Indianapolis northside. He has been with Ruth’s Chris Steak House since 2004. Prior to joining Ruth’s Chris, Sladan worked at Maggiano’s Little Italy, Capri and Amalfi Restaurant.
Originally from the former Yugoslavia, Sladan’s mother and his younger sister came to the United States in 1997 and were granted refugee status in the United States where 300 immigrants from Bosnia-Herzegovina lived as of 2000. Sladan followed his family to Indianapolis in 1998. Speaking no English and only 20 years old, Sladan started as a dishwasher and worked his way up the ladder to sweeping floors, changing light bulbs, busing tables and eventually into restaurant management.

“Sladan is living the American dream,” ways Kevin Armantrout. “He came to the U.S. with hope and determination and is now building a strong and exciting career. We’re thrilled to have Saladn on our team. We see Sladan doing great things in St. Louis.”
