St. Charles to Get a Dunkin' Donuts

will get a Dunkin' Donuts shop at the intersection of Boone's Lick Road and 5th Street. 

Construction has not yet started on the restaurant, which will be located at 530 Boone's Lick Road. 

Consultant Cole Engineering applied to the city for a permit on behalf of the franchisee to install a sign for the shop. No word yet on when the store will open. 

Milan Patel, owner of OHM Concession Group, opened two Dunkin' Donut shops at Lambert International Airport and in 2010 signed a development agreement to build four more, two in 2012. According to a story in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, two of those stores were to be built in the St. Charles area. 

 Michael Geller opened the Kirkwood and Rock Hill Dunkin' Donuts locations.
