Community rallies behind South City bar after SUV crashes into building (firstalert4.com) — A beloved South City spot, the Heavy Anchor Bar on Gravois, is temporarily condemned after a texting driver crashed an SUV through its front wall, leaving staff suddenly out of work. Neighbors, local businesses, and Alderman Ann Schweitzer have already raised tens of thousands of dollars and launched fundraisers, while the owners push for a temporary door so they can reopen as soon as the city allows.
