City Adopts "OurPlan" for Historically Disinvested North St. Louis Neighborhoods (stlouis-mo.gov) — North St. Louis neighborhoods around the new NGA campus now have an officially adopted "OurPlan" roadmap guiding housing, economic development, transportation, and anti-displacement efforts. Built with input from more than 1,000 residents over four mayoral administrations, the plan will shape zoning, infrastructure spending, and neighborhood investments that could significantly affect property conditions, mobility, and opportunities for current residents.
   

2. Mary Lamie Honored with Lifetime Achievement Award (collinsvilledailynews.com) — St. Louis transportation leader Mary Lamie has received the Transportation Club of St. Louis Lifetime Achievement Award for decades of work improving regional freight infrastructure and collaboration. Her leadership with Bi-State Development and the St. Louis Regional Freightway has helped secure billions in bridge, rail, and highway investments that strengthen the local economy and logistics network.
   

3. Why a former Shriner's Hospital patient returned as a nurse (kmov.com) — A former pediatric patient at Shriners Children's St. Louis has returned as a nurse, caring for kids in the same hospital that once treated her complex limb differences. Her story highlights the hospital's century-long commitment to providing orthopedic care regardless of ability to pay and aims to inspire families ahead of the Shriners Children's St. Louis Day of Giving on September 24.
   

4. Riverview PD dissolves, St. Louis County police to patrol municipality, Page says (kmov.com subscription) — Riverview's police department is dissolving, and St. Louis County police will now patrol the North County municipality amid a declared fiscal emergency. Local leaders cite rapidly shrinking funds and legal exposure tied to past decisions, and say the move is part of an effort to stabilize services and rebuild how the city serves residents.
