Created with Mission Realty Advisors, it explains how development deals move from idea to completion and aims to boost MWBE participation as billions in airport, housing, and commercial projects roll out across the region.
3. City of St. Louis Reaches ARPA Performance Deadline and Moves Into Processing Final Invoices (stlouis-mo.gov) — The City of St. Louis has finished the work phase for nearly $500 million in ARPA funds, moving into a final push to process all remaining invoices by year's end. Local residents have already seen investments in roads, water pipes, Wi‑Fi, housing help, public safety, and health services, with officials working to ensure every remaining dollar is spent and documented on time.
4. St. Louis police ask for help identifying 2 men after deadly shooting (kmov.com) — St. Louis police are asking residents to help identify two men connected to a Sept. 4 robbery and deadly shooting at St. Louis Fish & Chicken in the Walnut Park neighborhood. One suspect is already charged, but investigators released photos of two additional men and urge anyone with information to call CrimeStoppers at 866-371-TIPS.
5. St. Louis pledges swift action to restore 'quiet zones' amid prolonged train horn disruptions (ksdk.com) — St. Louis officials are racing to restore long-lapsed railroad 'quiet zones' after federal safety noncompliance left residents enduring constant train horns at 187 crossings for about a month. With half the Traffic Department reassigned, the city is repainting markings, upgrading signs, and prioritizing dense residential corridors so quiet zones can return line by line before December.
