ATSU St. Louis Dental Center Accredited for 10 Years

Accreditation is for maximum length achievable

ST. LOUIS - A.T. Still University (ATSU), who founded ATSU’s Missouri School of Dentistry & Oral Health and helped establish the St. Louis Dental Center in an innovative partnership with Affinia Healthcare, recently received continued accreditation from the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) for the maximum length achievable, 10 years.

More than three years ago, faculty, staff, students, administrators, and trustees came together to develop an evidence-based assurance argument, prepare for site team visits, and host successful visits by HLC representatives in Kirksville, Missouri, and Mesa, Arizona.

The Higher Learning Commission (HLC) is an independent corporation founded in 1895 as one of six regional institutional accreditors in the U.S. and accredits degree-granting post-secondary educational institutions in the North Central region, which includes 19 states.
