Woman-Led Tech Company Provides Financial, Emotional and Educational Support for Those Seeking Fertility Treatments
Chicago based tech company emBorrow announces today its expansion of services to the state of Missouri. The woman-led, start-up focuses on providing those seeking fertility services with a community of financial, emotional and educational support.
Prior to launch, emBorrow was selected to participate in the WiSTEM (Women in STEM) Accelerator program at 1871, which is the largest Midwest start-up hub based in Chicago. After launching in December 2019, emBorrow was named to Built In Chicago’s “Top 50 Startups to Watch in 2020” list in January.
emBorrow is unique in that it provides members with subscription installment plans to help cover the costs of fertility treatments, while also connecting them with a community of people who have undergone a variety of fertility procedures. “Those who become “emBorrowers,” will be supported in every aspect of their fertility journey by a community we have created to educate and prepare,” explains Kati Deutschle, emBorrow co-founder. “We want them to feel confident and comfortable knowing what to expect at the start and throughout their entire journey…something that was lacking in my own fertility experiences.”
Deutschle embarked on her fertility journey in 2015 when she did three successful rounds of egg freezing followed by seven rounds of IVF three years later. While Deutschle considers herself a “pro” in administering her own shots and knowing what to expect; she vividly remembers how clueless she was at the beginning and how isolating the entire process can feel.

For some, fertility treatment is a smooth ride, for others, it may require additional treatment never considered. Plus, the cost is not cheap. emBorrow was created to solve those issues.
emBorrow’s future expansion includes other Midwest and West Coast states such as California, Indiana and Michigan. For more information please visit www.emBorrow.com or call 1-866-3-EMBRYO (1-866-336-2796). For business-related inquires please email kathrin.deutschle@emborrow.com.
