Children Hurt As School Bus Crashes Down Embankment Near St. Louis: Raw Video

More than a dozen children were hurt Thursday morning after a school bus

ST. LOUIS, MO — At least 15 children were hurt but in good condition after a school bus struck a guardrail and flew down an embankment along west I-44 near Lindbergh Thursday morning in St. Louis County. Police told KMOV the crash occurred after a vehicle attempted to pass a pickup truck, lost control and veered into traffic. The school bus driver attempted to avoid the vehicle and the bus went into the ravine, police said.

A nearby hospital said the children hurt in the crash were all in good condition, KMOV reported. According to KTVI, one student was ejected through the bus' emergency door.
