Coldwell Banker Gundaker Raises $118,000 for RMHC

Coldwell Banker Gundaker recently hosted its 33rd Annual Celebration and Auction raising over $118,000 to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of St. Louis. The organization helps care for families of children with complex medical needs by providing them a home away from home.

The event was held at The Foundry Arts Centre in historic St. Charles, where the company’s affiliated agents, managers, employees and volunteers joined forces for an evening of giving back. Guests participated in a live and silent auction to graciously raise the funds, all while enjoying a live painting session by local artist, Jessica Hitchcock and mingling over food and drinks provided by Russo’s Catering.

“Each year, I’m amazed at the generosity and dedication of our sponsors, affiliated agents and staff in making this event a huge success,” said Jim Dohr. “To be able to say that we raised more than $118,000 this year for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of St. Louis, including over $20,000 in just the Sponsor a Family portion of the auction, is a testament to the dedication these individuals have for their community. I am proud of each and every one of them.”

For over 30 years, Coldwell Banker Gundaker and its local offices have been hosting charity events to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities. To date, the company has raised more than $2 million for this important cause. Each Ronald McDonald House location serves as a home-away-from-home for families with a seriously-ill child being treated at area hospitals and provides support to organizations that serve the needs of children. Coldwell Banker Gundaker was recognized for their commitment to their community by being the recipient of the 2013 NRT Humanitarian Award.
