Coldwell Banker Gundaker Raises Over $11,000 for RMHC

The Coldwell Banker Gundaker’s Highway 94 @ Mid Rivers office recently hosted its First Annual Mouse Derby raising over $11,000 for Ronald McDonald House Charities of St. Louis (RMHC) - an organization that helps care for families of children with complex medical needs by providing a home away from home.

The event took place at the Immaculate Conception Catholic School where attendees gathered for an evening of mouse races - which rare similar to horse races, a 50/50 drawing and raffle prizes to raise funds for the local chapter.

“We are so thrilled to have had such a successful first year raising funds for a worthy cause,” said Kim Magaletta, manager of the Highway 94 @ Mid Rivers office. “It’s a great feeling to give back to the community and we are so thankful for guests and volunteers alike who made this event a reality.”

For 30 years, Coldwell Banker Gundaker and its local offices have been hosting charity events to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities. To date, the company has raised more than $2 million for this important cause. Each Ronald McDonald House location serves as a home-away-from-home for families with a seriously-ill child being treated at area hospitals, and provides support to organizations that serve the needs of children. Coldwell Banker Gundaker was recognized for their commitment to their community by being the recipient of the 2013 NRT Humanitarian Award.
