Are You a Woman Who Measures Her Worth by Her Weight?

Many women measure their value by their weight. They may feel too heavy or too skinny. Maybe they diet off an on as a way to control their weight. Often, if we have experienced abuse or neglect in childhood or as adults food may be a way to manage or avoid painful feelings. What are the consequences to our emotional and physical health?

The most important question is what is behind our disordered eating? When we experience anxiety, depression or grief how do we manage it? Most behaviors that are learned can be unlearned. We can develop a healthier relationship with food.
