We conduct equipment donation drives twice a year to collect our inventory. This totals about 11,000 items of equipment collected annually. We sanitize and revitalize it all at our warehouse. Good parts of broken equipment are used for repairs.
Every year, we divert about 140 tons from landfills by cleaning, reconditioning and loaning those items.
We are a non-profit 501©(3) organization. If you wish to support our mission, please send a tax-deductible financial donation today to St. Louis HELP at 1640 Andrew Drive, St. Louis, Missouri, 63122.
All donations of equipment or financial gifts make a positive difference for people in our community and support recycling. We help people in all walks of life, rich or poor.

Many people suffering from illness, injury or a disability don’t have the health equipment they need because they can’t afford it or Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance won’t cover the cost.
Here’s what people say about us:
“Dear St. Louis HELP. When we lost our grandson to leukemia last year all of us in the family were devastated. He was a bright sixth grader full of energy who played baseball and ice hockey and loved to tussle with the little cocker spaniel we got at a rescue center. When he was very sick we bought an electric hospital bed so he could watch sports on TV while sitting up comfortably. He died on my daughter’s birthday and I almost cried whenever I saw that bed at my daughter’s house after he was gone. When I found out about St. Louis HELP we decided to donate that bed to you so that you can loan it to some other person who is sick and needs it. We believe that giving that bed to you is a wonderful way to honor our grandson’s memory, and we believe he would appreciate what you do at St. Louis HELP, as we do.”
“I endorse and support St. Louis HELP because it is a unique non-profit organization that assists thousands of people every year by loaning home health equipment for free. Few organizations make such an immediate, positive impact on people suffering from accidents, illness or surgery who have no other means of gaining the home health equipment they need.”
“Having been disabled with a neuromuscular disease my entire life, I am accustomed to having to fight relentlessly with insurance companies, medical providers, and even medical professionals to get the equipment and supplies I need. A wonderful, refreshing attitude is displayed by the staff at St. Louis HELP, which is simply: ‘What are your needs and how many we help you?’ This wonderful staff and volunteers are all dedicated to one goal: Improving the lives of disabled individuals by getting them the equipment they need, absolutely free of charge and without delay or mountains of paperwork. The shower chair they got for me was denied by my insurance company so many times I lost count. I encourage everyone to do whatever you can to support this wonderful organization, a real treasure, St. Louis HELP!”
