- A disturbance at the Juvenile Detention Center on Hogan Street caused around $10,000 in property damage and left one staffer injured on Thursday night. Police were called to the scene around 9:45 p.m. for reports of a possible riot and discovered eight teenagers attempting to escape the facility. Officers say they used pepper spray to subdue at least one of the teens during the incident. (KSDK.com)
- Three teenage boys were ticketed by police last weekend for throwing cheese at cars on Manchester Road. The teens were allegedly participating in a viral TikTok challenge that asks users to throw cheese on something and film it. They were caught when one impacted driver began chasing the teens, prompting them to seek shelter at Metro West Fire Protection District Station 4. (KTVI Fox 2 St. Louis)
- A winning scratcher ticket worth $100,000 was recently sold in St. Louis. The Missouri Lottery winner says she purchased the ticket for $5 at Bucky's Express on Page Avenue after discovering her favorite game was sold out.
