  1. The nonprofit HEAL Center for the Arts was awarded the Lewis Prize for Music $75,000 grant to support its programs and continue its music education efforts. The Grand Center-based nonprofit focuses on helping young people in the community learn how to be musicians. Even with the new officers, the department says it is still short-staffed but the new officers will hep with some shortages.
