1. One man was killed in a hit-and-run crash in north St. Louis County on Wednesday. The victim was crossing West Florissant Avenue when he was struck by a dark-colored SUV. The man was transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead. (KSDK.com)
2. Employees at Blue Circle Rehab and Nursing went on strike to protest workplace health and safety violations. The strike comes following allegations that nursing home residents had been neglected over a period of months, including reports that residents were often left to sit in their own urine and feces.
