Overland Farmers Market Will Rock with Vendors and the Rick Spier Band on Saturday, June 3

"People love our fresh, locally grown produce and merchandise that you can't find anywhere else."

Overland, Missouri…The Overland Farmers Market will offer plenty of fresh, locally produced vegetables, organic beef, bakery products and more on Saturday, June 3 in its covered pavilion at 2512 Woodson Road in Overland near Midland Boulevard.

Vendors at the Market offer an array of greens clipped fresh from the garden: You might find basil, chives, cilantro, tiny turnip tops, beet tops, dill weed, clipped spinach, lettuce and fresh green onions.

Don’t forget fresh fruits and vegetables: strawberries, rhubarb, snow peas, sugar snap peas, asparagus, sweet corn, yellow and green squash and sweet onions. Plus an array of other goodies!

The Market will be open rain or shine from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on June 3. The Rick Spier Band, a popular classic rock group, will perform live from 10 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Now in its tenth successful season, the Market’s covered pavilion has 24 stalls where local also offer original arts and crafts.

“People love our fresh, locally grown produce and merchandise that you can’t find anywhere else,” said Richard A. Kilzer, president of the Overland Farmers Market Board of Directors.

“Visitors can park beside the pavilion in our free parking lot, and vendors can load and unload their goods easily by backing up next to their covered stall,” Kilzer said.

The Overland Farmers Market is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization managed by volunteers and supported by sponsors. Admission is free. The Market will be open every Saturday morning through late October.
