St. Louis HELP Opening Facility in Missouri's Jefferson County
St. Louis HELP Opening Center for Free Loans of Home Health Equipment in Crystal City, Missouri

The not-for-profit St. Louis Health Equipment Lending Program (St. Louis HELP) that loans home medical equipment for free to anyone is opening a new center in Crystal City on July 10, about 30 miles is south of St. Louis in Jefferson County.
The Crystal City center will loan revitalized home health equipment for no cost or obligation to anyone who needs it, and will accept donations of used home health equipment. All donors will receive a tax deduction voucher.
St. Louis HELP collects, cleans and revitalizes used home health equipment for free loans to people suffering from accidents, illness or disability, as well as senior citizens and caregivers (http://www.stlhelp.org).

St. Louis HELP Crystal City will accept donations of every type of home medical devices except oxygen tanks and medications.
St. Louis HELP loans wheelchairs, electric hospital beds, shower chairs, canes, crutches, walkers, grab bars, elevated toilet seats, portable commodes, lift chairs, seating cushions, back supports, folding ramps and other devices.

The Crystal City center is open by appointment only for free loans of home medical equipment, or to donate equipment. Call 314 339 3311 for appointments and information at the Crystal City center.
The Crystal City center is funded in part by the St. Louis-Jefferson Solid Waste Management District and the Missouri Department of Natural Resources. The Crystal City center is the first outside of St. Louis for the organization, whose free lending warehouse and equipment repair facility are located in St. Louis County.

St. Louis HELP Crystal City is a non-profit 501(C) (3) organization that loans equipment to any person temporarily disabled by injury, illness or surgery; those awaiting insurance company approval; those whose own equipment is being repaired; visitors to metro St. Louis who can’t transport their own equipment; and terminally ill persons.
The organization responds to increasing requests from people and families throughout metro St. Louis for free use of revitalized health equipment.
