Cutting-edge treatments and innovative management guidelines for lung disease are themes for the American Lung Association in Missouri’s LUNG FORCE Expo, which will take place on June 7 at the Clayton Plaza Hotel in St. Louis.

This LUNG FORCE Expo is designed to educate health professionals, people who suffer from lung disease and caregivers about the latest trends, resources and research surrounding lung cancer, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma and other respiratory diseases. Topics for this year’s event include improving daily living with pulmonary rehabilitation, pediatric lung transplantation, bronchiectasis paradigm shift, eating well for your lung health and more.

“By participating in the LUNG FORCE Expo, you are helping change what it means for people to live with lung disease,” said Plesetta Clayton, director of health promotions for the Lung Association. “Join us to learn important lung disease information, share a meaningful experience with others who are fighting lung disease, and care for yourself and others by expanding your lung disease knowledge.”
