WGU Missouri Hires Lindsey Ingolia as Community Engagement Manager

WGU Missouri is pleased to announce the appointment of Lindsey Ingolia, of St. Ann, to the role of Community Engagement Manager. In this position, Ingolia will develop and implement programs designed to drive student enrollment throughout Missouri, Illinois and the seven other states in the Midwest region. She will also be responsible for coordinating projects and processes in support of effective business operations, providing comprehensive support to senior-level staff and acting as a liaison in support of student needs.
Ingolia is a graduate of WGU Missouri, having earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management in 2018. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Management and Leadership from the online, nonprofit university and will graduate this fall. Prior to joining WGU in a full-time capacity, Ingolia served as a student office worker at the university for five years. The position helped prepare her for her current role. Her prior experience also includes serving as a legal assistant for Richard A. Abrams, where she coordinated logistics for court proceedings, managed confidential records and performed administrative and clerical functions.
“We are delighted to welcome Lindsey to our team full-time,” said Dr. Angie Besendorfer, Chancellor of WGU Missouri. “Her educational background, experience and familiarity with WGU make her a great fit for the role of Community Engagement Manager. We look forward to working with Lindsey as we continue to expand access to high-quality, affordable higher education to working adults throughout the Midwest.”
