
Girl Scouts from all over the eastern Missouri Council gathered at the United States Post Office today for the unveiling of a Forever® stamp that commemorates the organization’s 100th anniversary. Jacqueline Krage Strako, the Vice President of Area Operations, traveled from Chicago to present Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri with the stamp that pays tribute to scouting organizations for all of the opportunities and pleasures they have provided to millions of youths worldwide.
Katherine Klix and Kelsey Vancil, local Girl Scouts from St. Peters, were also in attendance. They presented the post office with 200 postcards that featured the Girl Scout stamp to be sent to military troops overseas.
