Triathlons have become a popular event at the St. Peters Rec-Plex. Hundreds of people challenge themselves in the event each spring and fall. Their next challenge comes during the Rec-Plex Spring Triathlon this coming Sunday. And, we need your help to make it happen.
Triathletes swim 500 meters, ride their bike for 21 miles and then run 5 miles. It’s a great scene as these athletes endure one event after the other, finally getting the satisfaction of crossing the finish line.
But, they can't do it without people helping along the way. Volunteers get the event’s athletes registered, direct traffic at course checkpoints, and hand out water to runners.
