Arctic Blast Golf Tournament Ready to Tee Off Jan. 7

Golf and January are two things that don't often mix, but don't tell that to the city of St. Peters. 

St. Peters will kick off 2012 by hosting the Arctic Blast golf tourney at the St. Peters Golf Course. The 18-hole scramble will take place Jan. 7, 2012.

Teams of four people will compete for cash prizes in multiple flights. Contests will include closest to the pin and longest drive events. Golf begins at 9:30 a.m. 

The entrance fee for the event is $40 per player. Included in the fee is the round of golf, a golf cart, and lunch following the successful completion of 18 holes. Golfers can compete in an optional skins game for an additional $40 per team.
