Cedar Lake Cellars To Host February Wine Dinner

Cedar Lake Cellars, a winery and event center, will host its “Wine and Dine” monthly dinner on Sat., Feb. 21 from 7 to 10 p.m. for those 21 years of age and older for $70 per person.

This “World of Pinot Noir” dinner will be hosted by Cedar Lake Cellars’ winery manager Gina Rhodes, as well as Terra Ferma USA wine expert Ben Wood. Cedar Lake Cellars is located at 11008 Schreckengast Rd. in Wright City, Mo. 

The first course includes Maryland crab mousse with black sea salt lahvosh paired with Trimbach Pinot Blanc. The second course features a brie wedge with jicama slaw and a blackberry vinaigrette paired with Dom de Prieuré Savigny-lès-Beaune, a French Pinot Noir. The third course is honey and chili rubbed lamp chops with house pickled sweet peppers on a bed of pecorino and cornbread pancakes paired with Animal Pinot Noir from Romania. The fourth course is a dulce de leche crème brûlée shooters paired with Charles de Cazanove Blanc de Noirs.
