Cedar Lake Cellars To Host January Wine Dinner

Cedar Lake Cellars, a winery and event center, will host the first “Wine and Dine” monthly event of the new year on Sat., Jan. 17 from 7 to 10 p.m. for those 21 years of age and older for $70 per person. Cedar Lake Cellars is located at 11008 Schreckengast Rd. in Wright City, Mo.

The first course of the Italian wine dinner includes a variety of cheeses and beef including fontina, grana padano, pecorino toscano, and bresaola with a balsamic reduction paired with a San Angelo Pinot Grigio wine. The second course features minestrone soup and olive farm bread paired with a red Concha del Sol Valpolicella Ripasso wine. The third course is cacciucco, an Italian fish stew, with veal and crimini risotto paired with a light Barolo wine. The fourth course is panna cotta with wild berry reduction and dark chocolate zeppoles pastries paired with a Villa Jolanda Brachetto wine.
