Cedar Lake Cellars To Host November Wine Dinner

Cedar Lake Cellars, a winery and event center, will host its third “Wine and Dine” event featuring the winery’s own red wines on Sat., Nov. 8 from 7 to 10 p.m. for those 21 years of age and older. The wine pairing dinner series is $70 per person per dinner. Cedar Lake Cellars is located at 11008 Schreckengast Rd. in Wright City, Mo.

The first course includes old Amsterdam gouda cheese, farmer’s bread and onion jam appetizer served with a Cedar Lake Cellars late Harvest Sauvignon Blanc. The second course features a seared pancetta and kale salad with potato gnocchi topped with a warm pancetta dressing and served with a Cedar Lake Cellars late harvest Chardonnay.

The third course is a cioppino stew and crusty bread served with Cedar Lake Cellar’s newest semi-dry red blend ’57 Chevy. The fourth course includes a peppercorn crusted beef tenderloin medallions topped with smoke bleu cheese from the local Rouge Dairy, butter-baked parsnips and herb-whipped sweet and gold potatoes served with a Cedar Lake Cellars late Harvest Dreamer Cabernet. The fifth course features dark chocolate s’mores served with Cedar Lake Cellar’s ICON chocolate port.
