Cedar Lake Cellars To Host Whiskey And Beer Dinner

Cedar Lake Cellars, a winery and event center, will host its first “Whiskey, Beer and Dine” dinner on Sat., March 21 from 7 to 10 p.m. for those 21 years of age and older for $70 per person. Cedar Lake Cellars is located at 11008 Schreckengast Rd. in Wright City, Mo.

The first course includes a North Atlantic smoked salmon with chive herb cheese on Irish soda bread paired with The Copywriter (Jameson Irish whiskey and fresh squeezed lemonade with honey topped with club soda.) The second course features an Irish pub salad, which is field greens with Dubliner cheese, hard-boiled egg, pickled beets and a light vinaigrette paired with an Irish Whiskey Sour (Bushmills Irish Whiskey and nectarine pure, fresh sour mix, and a cherry garnish.)

The third course is steak and Guinness pot pie, which is a rib-eye steak with a rich Guinness gravy, carrots, potatoes and celery topped with a flaky crust paired with a pint of Guinness beer. The fourth course is a whiskey cake paired with Irish Mist served over shaved ice.
