City Working on Water Main Break on Mid Rivers Mall Drive

 A city of St. Peters crew is on site working to repair a water main break on Mid Rivers Mall Drive that occurred this morning near the store at the intersection of Mid Rivers Plaza.

Water customers along both sides of Mid Rivers Mall Drive from Barnes & Noble north to the Bob Evans restaurant at Veterans Memorial Parkway are impacted by the water main break.

Workers have shut down water service in this area in order to repair the 8-inch water main. One southbound lane of Mid Rivers Mall Drive has been closed in this area for the repair work.

The water main break occurred on the northwest part of the intersection when a City of St. Peters contractor hit the pipe while trying to install a mast-arm base that will support traffic signals going in at Mid Rivers Mall Drive and Mid Rivers Plaza. This work is part of the Mid Rivers Mall Drive Resurfacing Project.
