Friday Night Spotlight: Regular Season Comes to a Close with Week 10 Games
Week 10 will be the last week of the season for some St. Peters teams.
Welcome to the final week of the high school football season.
District playoffs are underway and Week 10 will clear up the muddled playoff picture. Let's take a look at the upcoming games.
(5-4) at Fort Zumwalt North (5-3) at 7 p.m.
The Fort Zumwalt South Bulldogs need some help to get into the playoffs. Then again, so do the Zumwalt North Jaguars.

Both teams are 1-2 in Class 5, District 4 play. Fort Zumwalt East already has a playoff spot and, with a win over Timberland, Holt could be the final team. However, if Holt loses, the winner of the South/North game will be a in a three-way tie with Timberland and Holt for the final spot.
The tie breaker will knock out the team with the worst point differential first and then the winner of the game between the remaining two teams would advance.

The Lutheran Cougars have one more chance to get a win in 2011.
The Cougars are 0-9 on the season and 0-2 in District action. Lutheran lost 30-3 last week and will be taking on O'Fallon Christian this week.
Christian is 6-2 on the year and 1-1 in District play. The Cougars need a win to make the postseason.

Francis Howell Central (3-5) vs. Francis Howell North (3-5) at 7 p.m.
Week 10 will be the last game of the season for the Francis Howell Central Spartans. Central will square off with Howell North Nights in rivalry game.
The Spartans are 3-6 on the season and 0-2 in District play. The young Spartans are coming off a big loss to Pattonville. Howell North lost to Francis Howell and is also 0-2 in the playoffs. Both teams are eliminated, but bragging rights are on the line.
