Get Out: Trivia, All-You-Can-Eat Pancakes, and Butterflies

Let St. Peters Patch help you out. The following list provides some of the best activities and events going on in your own backyard. Check out this week’s picks for a fun-filled weekend!
- Where/When: The Butterfly House. Saturday and Sunday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Why Go? You could travel to Central or South America to see a few Blue Morpho Butterflies or you could drive about 20 minutes to the Butterfly House and see over 3,000 of them.
- Pricing: Tickets are $6 adults; $4 children ages 3 to 12. Free children ages 2 and under
- Where/When: The Maryland Heights Centre. Friday, doors open at 6:15 p.m. and trivia begins at 7 p.m.
- Why Go? Have fun for a good cause. This trivia event is in support of those with developmental disabilities and their families. Remember dress up and decorate your table. The ARC will be awarding the best table prize.
- Pricing: Each table holds eight people at $25 a piece. Reserve your table now by calling 314-817-2241. Spots are filling.
- When/Where: Bridgeton Machinists Hall
- Why Go: More fun and good feelings. By playing your share of Texas Hold’Em and mouse race games, you are helping support the Burns Recovered Support Group. This is a treat for the family.
- Pricing: The cost of admission is $25 for adults; children younger than 12 are $15. For those wishing to participate in Texas Hold 'Em, the entry fee is $50 (includes admission into the Mouse Races).
- When/Where: Sunday, 2 p.m. , Sunday, 2 p.m.
- Why Go: This is fun opportunity for the young ‘American girl’ in your life.
- Pricing: Tickets are $19.99 for kids; $17.95 for adults. Reservations are required. Call (636) 379-6878 now to make them.
- Where/When: , Sunday 10 to 10:30 a.m.
- Why Go? All you can eat pancakes and sausage for $5! Sleep in, and grab the family. Get those cakes while their hot!
