Girls Swimming Finals Coming to St. Peters
Missouri State Swimming Finals begins Saturday at the St. Peters Rec-Plex.

After Friday's preliminary heats, the real action begins bright and early on Saturday at the MSHSAA Girls Swimming and Diving Championships.
Swimmers from across from Missouri arrived in St. Peters on Friday for the opening day of the state meet. The girls hit the pool at the in the quest to keep state hopes alive. Times were recorded in the heats and field was cut to final group for Saturday's final event.
Doors open for competitors at 6:50 a.m. for the final day of the 2010-11 girls swimming season. Divers and swimmers will then compete throughout the day with the winners earning state titles.

The schedule for today break down like this:
- 7 a.m.: Diving warm-ups begin.
- 7:30 a.m.: Diving tickets go on sale.
- 8 a.m.: Admission gates open for diving.
- 8 a.m.: Swimming tickets go on sale.
- 9:30 a.m.: Diving competition begins.
- After Diving: Diving awards presented.
- After Diving: Spectator stands are cleared and cleaned for swimming finals.
- After Diving: Admission gates open for swimming finals.
- 2 p.m.: Swimming warm-ups begin.
- 3 p.m. Swimming finals competition begins.
Tickets for the diving finals are $7. Tickets for the swimming are also $7.
