THE STRENGTH OF A COMMUNITY IS BASED UPON THE STRENGTH OF ITS' PEOPLE
Fortunately for Robyne her whole life was based on inner strength. But it wasn’t until Robyne was up against the biggest challenge of her life; being hit by a speeding commuter bus and being diagnosed with cerebellum damage to the brain. After being told she should not have survived the 2 million pound impact from the speeding commuter bus that hit the parked car she was sitting in and overcoming what doctors, from around the world, said she wouldn't be able to overcome the brain damage acquired from the impact Robyne sought on a quest to help others find the courage to step out of the box and break the boundaries that kept them a prisoner to what others said they could or could not do. Robyne developed a road map to share her tools with others so that they too could find their courage and unleash their inner power within. Robyne calls this the Get In Shape Challenge. A different kind of gym focusing on unleashing one’s inner strength through various outlets of fitness adventures; boot camp, obstacle courses, yoga/meditation and many other adventures. The Get In Shape Challenge is a place where the individual drops his or her facade and lets go of what they believe society expects from them or what they think they should be. FORGET IT. YOU must answer to YOU when YOU look in the mirror. You must be proud and fulfilled with you. In order to do that, you need to identify specific things about yourself before you can break the chains that constrain you.
Society cannot tell you what sort of person you “should” be or what you can or cannot do. Forget it. You must answer to YOU so you need to identify certain things before you can break the chains that constrain you.
To begin finding your inner strength let’s begin with a few challenging questions;
What kind of person am I?
Am I a born participant or a spectator?Am I a leader or a spectator?
Am I an individualist or a “chameleon”?
Am I an idealist or a realist?
Am I a self-motivator, or do I feel I need something from the outside?
What kind of job/career do I have?
Am I in a career I truly believe in, outside of the money or the benefits?
Am I self employed or do I work for someone else?
Am I happy and/or satisfied with where I am and what I am doing?
Do I allow others to dictate the quality of my thoughts or do I maintain that inner strength with in?
WHAT ARE MY GOALS? WHAT SORT OF PERSON WOULD I LIKE TO BE?
Time out here. Those last questions – “What are my goals?” and “What sort of person would I like to be?” – are the most important ones for any individual. Answering either question-especially the latter – will probably not be easy.
Challenge yourself to listen for the answers. The answers may come immediately or may take a day or week. But when they come you will know. HAVE THE COURAGE to face your deepest desires without feeling the need to apologize to self or anyone for allowing your innerness to surface (no matter what those desires may be). Then have the COURAGE to determine what kind of person you truly want to be. Then find a way or an environment that will help those desires gently surface to the top regardless the challenges. Do not worry about how it may feel to write and feel the words you write. Allow yourself to just be and write what comes to you from the heart. Remember: Living things that do not grow simply fade away. Keep that in mind. You were not born to push yourself from one day to another in a state of numbness and boring sameness rather passion. personal satisfaction and commitment. These are the things that make life worthwhile and meaningful. Try it!
The real test of courage is how you live in your daily life. A sense of one’s self, no matter how distinct from other people and society, is crucial. It takes courage to find it... be it But, guess what when you do more will follow and once you do, a lot more courage follows. A valuable secret: Courage breeds more courage.
YOU NEED TO FEEL GREAT ABOUT YOU IN ORDER TO BE COURAGEOUS. A NEW DAY IS A NEW BEGINNING. GET UP AND EXERCISE! YOUR TRUE INNER YOU, WHEN YOU LEAVE YOUR HOUSE IN THE MORNING, FOCUS ON YOU BEING THAT WARRIOR. YOUR CHIN IS UP, YOU SHOULDERS ARE BACK, YOUR STOMACH IS TIGHT AND YOU ARE READY TO CONQUER! GO OUT AND DIG DEEP AND FIND YOUR SUPERNESS... YOUR REALNESS... YOUR YOU
