Mid Rivers Mall Drive Resurfacing Project Underway Wednesday Night

Mid Rivers Mall Drive is the latest St. Peters road to get a new surface.

Road crews will begin work at 9 p.m. Wednesday night to start the resurfacing work.Work is expected to end at 6 a.m. on Thursday morning..

The project will resurface Mid Rivers Mall Drive between Mexico Road and Veterans Memorial Parkway. Work to replace the concrete is scheduled to take place between Aug. 22 and Sept. 29.

All the work in the project will take place during late evening and early morning hours. Drivers on the roads during those times can expect lane closures and delays.

The resurfacing project will: remove damaged concrete pavement, curb and gutter, and sidewalk sections; diamond-grind new and existing concrete pavement; and resurface existing asphalt pavement.
