More than a week after a devastating earthquake and subsequent tsunami, images have been broadcast over the airwaves. Some of the images have been troubling to watchβ€”tragic images of destruction and chaos.Β 

No matter how hard you try, avoiding the images and the news of Japan has been nearly impossible. For young kids, the figuresβ€”more than 2,000 deadβ€”can be confusing and sad.Β
