Moms Talk: Picking A Favorite Team

One of my earliest memories is going to baseball games with my dad.

I remember showing up super early for batting practice at old Busch Stadium and watching the Cardinals play. My father grew up in Nashville, but had always been a Cardinals fan thanks to the power of KMOX (and the power of Bob Gibson, I guess).

My family moved to St. Louis months before I was born so I was indoctrinated into the Cardinal culture since birth. My dad, or my mom for that matter, didn't push me into following their favorite team, it just happened.

Which brings us to this week's questions:

Should you let your child pick their own favorite team, even if it happens to be a rival of your favorite team?
