Ohmes Road Will Be Reduced to One Lane Beginning Tuesday

Road will be closed as part of the resurfacing project.

When drivers return to work after the Labor Day weekend, they will run into more road projects in St. Peters.

Ohmes Road will be reduced to one lane and one way only from the Woodlands Sports Park entrance toΒ St. Peters-Cottleville Road starting Tuesday,Β Sept. 6. The road will remain that way until Friday,Β Sept. 9. The lane closures are required to allow a portion of Ohmes Road to be reconstructed in preparation for asphaltΒ resurfacing as part of the Ohmes Road Resurfacing Project. The project, of course, is contingent on Mother Nature cooperating.Β

Traffic will be restricted to one eastbound laneΒ during the period at all times. All westbound traffic between St. Peters-CottlevilleΒ Road and the Woodland Sports ParkΒ entranceΒ will be prohibited. Two-way traffic will be restored by the end of the day, Friday, September 9, 2011.
