Ohmes Road Will Be Reduced to One Lane Beginning Tuesday

When drivers return to work after the Labor Day weekend, they will run into more road projects in St. Peters.

Ohmes Road will be reduced to one lane and one way only from the Woodlands Sports Park entrance to St. Peters-Cottleville Road starting Tuesday, Sept. 6. The road will remain that way until Friday, Sept. 9. The lane closures are required to allow a portion of Ohmes Road to be reconstructed in preparation for asphalt resurfacing as part of the Ohmes Road Resurfacing Project. The project, of course, is contingent on Mother Nature cooperating. 

Traffic will be restricted to one eastbound lane during the period at all times. All westbound traffic between St. Peters-Cottleville Road and the Woodland Sports Park entrance will be prohibited. Two-way traffic will be restored by the end of the day, Friday, September 9, 2011.

During this period, drivers wishing to access Woodland Sports Park and residential developments along Ohmes Road from Mid Rivers Mall Drive may do so by using westbound Mexico Road to southbound Birdie Hills Road or westbound Cottleville Parkway/Knaust Road to northbound Birdie Hills Road.
