The following are selected reports from the St. Peters Police Department.

The following are selected reports from the St. Peters Police Department provided on April 8, 2011.Β Β 

  • Incident No. 6677: Property damage, Boschert Landing Blvd/Salt Lick Road. Unknown person(s) damaged a fence dividing property lines.Β  Β 
  • Incident No. 6683: Assault/burglary, First Baptist Church.
  • Incident No. 6688: Property damage, 900 block of Jungermann Road. Unknown person(s) damaged building wall with paintβ€”on-going problem with person(s) causing property damage to the building.
  • Incident No. 6735: Recovered stolen property, 4100 block of I-70 Service Road North. Stolen license plates were recovered off of an abandoned vehicle.
  • Incident No. 6791: Property damage, 1stΒ block of Crescent Hills. Unknown person(s) damaged mailbox by unknown means.
  • Incident No. 6835: Identity theft, 7400 block of Mexico Road. Victim’s checking account information was fraudulently used in Florida in attempts to withdrawal money.Β  Unknown where his identity was stolen.Β  Report was taken for the Police Department in Florida so they could conduct a continued investigation.
  • Incident No. 6858: Property damage, 1stΒ block of Gateswood. Unknown person(s) damaged victim’s mailbox by unknown means.
  • Incident No. 6866: Stealing, 500 block of Mid Rivers Mall Circle. Two unknown male subjects stole 20 Bluetooth headsets from store.Β  Active investigation.
  • Incident No. 6867: Fraud. Victim contacted officers at the police station to report that an unknown person was fraudulently using their credit card in another country.
  • Incident No. 6879: Forgery. Victim contacted officers at the police station to report a β€œCraigslist Scam.”  Subject sold a $100 pair of sunglasses to buyer, who gave seller a $1,400 cashier’s check and asked victim to wire the remainder of the money to their β€œshipper,” which was in another state.Β  The cashier’s check look real enough for most banks to cash it, but once it is discovered the check is fake, the bank deducts the money from your bank account.Β This is a common scam people use for high priced items.Β 
  • Incident No. 6926: Property damage, 100 block of Willott Square. Unknown person shot holes into victim’s house windowβ€”it appeared to be from a BB gun.
  • Incident No. 7005: Property damage, 200 block of Sierra Drive. Unknown person(s) threw metal piping at the metal sheet skirt that covers the gap under her mobile home, damaging the metal skirt.
