Rascals Report: River City Squad Ends Week on a Winning Note
Rascals are now 8-6 after the first two weeks of Frontier League action.
Welcome to the Rascals Report. Every Sunday we'll take a look back at last week of action from the 2010 Frontier League champs. We'll also preview the action ahead.

Looking Back
The River City Rascals picked up back-to-back wins to close out the second week of the 2011 season. After losing the first two games of the week, River City managed to pull out a 3-3 in the last six games of the season. The Rascals now sit at 8-6 on the young Frontier League season.

Looking Ahead
After spending 11 of the first 14 games at home, the Rascals will be hitting the road next week. Beginning Tuesday, the Rascals will begin a six-game road trip. The trip begins in Rockford.

Infielder Bobby Burk has gone 8-for-21 (.381) in the last seven days. He has had a team-best two homers (tied with Stephen Holdren) and five RBIs in that span.
Pitcher Josh Lowey tossed eight innings on June 2 in a 2-1 loss to Rockford. Lowey (0-1) gave up just two runs on five hits. He struck out four while only walking two batters.
Pitcher Gary Moran picked up a 5-1 win on . Moran (2-0) picked up nine strikeouts and zero walks in eight innings of work. He scattered seven hits in the win.
Who’s Not
Brandon Johnson is just 2-for-23 (.087) in the last seven days. He does have three runs scored in that span.
First baseman Jason Carr went 1-for-11 (.091) last week.
Pitcher Sean Toler has had two rough starts in the last seven days. The right-hander is 0-1 with a 10.50 ERA in six innings pitched. He gave up 14 hits, 13 runs (seven earned) in two starts.
