Schnucks Cooks for Kids Summer Cooking Camp!

Schnucks’ registered dietitians have developed hands-on cooking classes that encourage children to be creative and have fun in the kitchen as they explore new foods, tastes and flavors. It’s a fun and tasty way for kids to develop healthy habits. Kids will learn a pinch of math, a pound of health, a pint of culture, and a gallon of science. You supply the chefs, we supply the rest!

Register early to reserve your child’s spot! Classes begin Monday, June 8 and will take place each week through August 7th.

• Each day is a different theme and new food adventure. For your convenience, each day we offer two different session times to better fit your schedule. You can choose from the three-hour Morning Session (9:00 am –12:00 pm) or the two-hour Afternoon Session (2:00 pm –4:00 pm). Parents are welcome to stay and participate, but it is not required.

• Children ages 5-8 will get hands on kitchen experience as they learn how to create delicious and healthy recipes. They will be introduced to interesting new foods and flavors as we guide the children through the recipes step-by-step to help them discover their inner creative cook.

• Children ages 9-12 will learn how to make cooking more creative, healthy and fun. These classes will broaden kitchen skills with finger-licking recipes that kids can make again on their own. Parents will appreciate the use of good-for-you ingredients while kids will enjoy the hands-on experimenting with new foods.
