Spencer Road Library Hosting Moving Sale Monday

The St. Peters library will be selling off items on Monday, Nov. 28, as it moves to its new location.

The of the St. Charles City-County Library District is currently closed as the library closes down one building while it waits for the new building to open.Β 

The Β as construction on the new building is nearly compelte. The library district hopes to open the new, bigger buildingβ€”located directly behind and really around the old locationβ€”in early 2012.Β 

To gear up for the move, the library district will be holding a moving sale on Monday, Nov. 28.Β The sale begins at 9:00 a.m. at the old building located at 427Β SpencerΒ Road in St. Peters and goes until 4:00 p.m.Β No preview or pre-sales will be offered.Β Card catalogs are NOT available for sale, but a variety of otherΒ itemsΒ will be offered including: library tables and chairs,Β furniture and fixtures,Β office desks and chairs,Β files,Β retail fixtures,Β equipment,Β refrigerator,Β microwave,Β cleaning supplies,Β study carrels,Β picturebook table,Β computer monitors,Β solid slabs with formica,Β book displays, spinners, decorative items and more.

The sale is cash only or check only and no refunds are available. All purchases must be removed from the building by the end of the sale that day. Library staff is not able to assist customers in removing purchases.
