St. Peters Residents Injured in Car Accident

A  woman was seriously injured in a one-vehicle accident Monday.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MHSP), the accident occurred at 12:35 p.m. Monday, Feb. 14. 

Cynthia D. Schneider, 39, swerved her 2001 Dodge Neon in order to avoid an unknown vehicle. Schneider's car traveled off the left side of eastbound Interstate 70, just west of Belleau Creek Road. The Neon then hit the median wall twice.

Schneider sustained serious injuries. Her two passengers, Justin M. Erickson, 12, and Jennifer D. Erickson, 33, both of St. Peters, had moderate injuries.
