The Daily Dose: The January 23 Edition

Welcome to another edition of the Daily Dose.

Today marks the beginning of the last full of January. Yes, you read that right, the first month of 2012 is a week and some change from being in the books. Time really flies when you're having fun. 

Another thing about today? At 6:30 p.m. the St. Louis Blues will battle the Detroit Red Wings for first place in the NHL's Western Conference. As a long-suffering puckhead, I can't wait for the game.

Here's the St. Peters weather outlook for today and Tuesday from the National Weather Service. 

Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 43. Breezy, with a west wind between 14 and 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. 

Monday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 23. West wind between 6 and 11 mph. 

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 45. North wind around 6 mph. 

Tuesday night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 27.
