The Daily Dose: The October 12 Edition

There's some good news and some bad news today.

The St. Louis Cardinals are set to take on the Milwaukee Brewers at 7 p.m. tonight in Game 3 of the National League Championship series. As a Cardinal fan, I'm pretty stoked. There is one small problem, however—rain. After begin pretty quiet for weeks, rain is forecasted. The game could be postponed, and that's not good for anyone.

Here's the St. Peters weather outlook for today and Thursday from the National Weather Service. 

Wednesday: Showers and thunderstorms likely. Cloudy, with a high near 73. South wind between 3 and 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent.

Wednesday night: Showers and thunderstorms likely. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 56. South wind 5 to 7 mph becoming west. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent.

Thursday: Partly sunny, with a high near 70. West wind between 10 and 17 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph. 

Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 48. West wind between 9 and 13 mph.
