Dunbar to Develop Best Practices, Optimize Daily Operations
ST. LOUIS, MO—Sunset Transportation recently appointed Andrew Dunbar as operations team lead at the company’s headquarters office in St. Louis, Mo. He brings over a decade of experience in transportation and business development.

In his new role, Dunbar will work with management and operations staff to effectively and efficiently transition accounts, optimize daily operations, and identify potential opportunities for future growth. His previous experience includes serving in national accounts at CH Robinson, where he built and managed a portfolio of over $8 million in annual sales.
Dunbar’s efforts will help fuel Sunset’s double-digit growth as an expanding regional leader in transportation third-party logistics (3PL) services management. The company recently moved into larger headquarters and was named as a Central Midwest Finalist in the 2011 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year awards.

Dunbar has a Bachelors degree in Public Management from Indiana University and is currently earning his Masters of Business Administration – Operations Management from St. Louis University.
