Chick-fil-A at Sunset Plaza Celebrates First Anniversary with 'Week of Thanks'

During the Chick-fil-A at Sunset Plaza 'Week of Thanks' (Nov. 10-15), guests can enjoy free breakfast, Military Appreciation Night and more.

WHAT: The Chick-fil-A® restaurant at Sunset Plaza will celebrate its first anniversary with a Week of Thanks from Monday, Nov. 10 to Saturday, Nov. 15. The restaurant will thank the community for its support during its first year by giving away food and hosting events and fundraisers.

The week’s events and giveaways include:
• Monday, Nov. 10 – Friday, Nov. 14 (6:30 to 10 a.m.): Free Chick-fil-A® Original or Spicy Chicken Biscuits during breakfast hours.


• Tuesday, Nov. 11 (5:30 to 8 p.m.): Military Appreciation Night
All active military personnel and those who have honorably served are invited, along with their immediate family members, to enjoy a free meal at the Chick-fil-A restaurant. To receive the free meal, guests must show a military ID or proof of service.

• Thursday, Nov. 13 (9 to 9:30 a.m.): Mommy & Me Story Time Morning
Guests are invited to bring their favorite books and enjoy story time while visiting with then Chick-fil-A “Eat Mor Chikin®” Cow.


• Friday, Nov. 14 (5:30 to 8 p.m.): Chick-fil-A Sunset Plaza First Anniversary Party
Guests can enjoy face painting, balloon artists and Back Stage Tours of the Chick-fil-A at Sunset Plaza. The Chick-fil-A “Eat Mor Chikin®” Cow will join in on the fun, as well.

• Saturday, Nov. 15 (All Day): Joshua Chamberlain Society of St. Louis Fundraiser
A percentage of all sales from the day will be donated to the Joshua Chamberlain Society of St. Louis (JCS). JCS provides long-term support to veterans from the Greater St. Louis area that have sustained permanent combat injuries. It also provides long-term support to the children of local veterans who made the ultimate sacrifice. Local veterans Staff Sgt. Joshua Eckhoff and US Marine Cpl. Todd Nicely will be the guests of honor from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and there will be a Humvee on site for children to explore.

“Our Chick-fil-A team is thankful for the support our community has given us over the past year,” said Eric Benting, franchise Operator of the Chick-fil-A at Sunset Plaza. “As a veteran, I am honored to celebrate our first anniversary by recognizing local military throughout the week.”
