Crestwood-Sunset Hills Chamber Honors Student of the Month

, who has been profiled in Patch, was honored at Tuesday’s networking luncheon.

A senior at Lindbergh High School, Maxwell is ranked in the top 10 of her class. Her GPA is a 4.75 on a 4.0 scale, and she is an International Baccalaureate Diploma candidate.

Maxwell, who has participated in the Students and Teachers as Research Scientists (STARS) program, plans to attend the University of Minnesota to pursue a degree in physics and astrophysics. She also plans to obtain her doctorate and to advance into a career in astronomy and physics. She ultimately would like to become an astronaut.

The Student of the Month for February was sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Crestwood-Sunset Hills.
