The Lindbergh Schools String Orchestras welcome the five-time Grammy nominated Quartet San Francisco. The versatile quartet specializes in crossover music including jazz, tango, pop, funk, blues, bluegrass, gypsy swing and big band. Several student groups will have a special opportunity to perform with Quartet San Francisco. They are: East Watson String Quartet, an ensemble of Lindbergh High School students; Concord String Quartet, which includes Sperreng Middle School eighth grade orchestra; and the Sperreng Eighth Grade Orchestra. This concert was scheduled for Feb. 3 but was cancelled due to the weather. Tickets will be good for those who purchased them for the original date and there are still tickets available for those who did not purchase them for the Feb. 3 date.
